We are a California-licensed general contracting firm, led by two principals. They walk the lot together before a line is drawn. Jason takes the structure and the site, Benjamin takes the interior detailing and the finish work, the parts you touch every day. Neither of them hands the job over and moves on.
We are a general contractor and nothing else. You keep the architect and the interior designer you chose, and we don’t compete with them for the work. We take only a few homes at a time.
From an architect we build for
"We have had the opportunity to work with Jason and Ben on two residential projects. Their team is enjoyable to collaborate with, and we have appreciated the attention they bring to the finish work."

How the work runs
Most of what goes wrong on a build goes wrong in the gaps. Between the drawings and the framing. Between the proposal and the invoice. The Process page walks all five phases, what happens in each one, and what you’re holding when it ends.
Altadena fire rebuild

Every builder in the rebuild market can list the standards. Class A roof assembly, ember-resistant venting, ignition-resistant cladding, tempered glazing, enclosed decking. The list reads the same on every website because everybody took it from the same code.
The jobs that pass the first time are the ones where those decisions got made early. Venting and eave detailing are settled at framing. Deck assemblies are settled before the deck is ordered. Left to the end, each one can become a change order and a delay. On a rebuild, the delay is often the expensive part.
We take only a few homes at a time. On a rebuild, that is how we keep your job moving.
You get an itemized proposal your insurer can process, a signed compliance summary for the file, and the two people who own the firm on the job while it’s being built.
